Chemistry Lesson from the Weekend

Red wine on a white duvet cover will turn magenta with antibacterial hand soap and bright blue with powdered laundry detergent.

  4. Amazingly, I managed to get it out! I was just freaking out for a bit when it started changing colors on me. Even though I don't have kids, I really shouldn't own anything white...I don't have the best record.

  7. Queen B, at least you had an amazing story to go along with WHY you had wine stains! We actually didn't find the stain until we finished our movie, turned the light on, and it was dried purple (and we still don't quite know who spilled it the first place...but my bet is on someone who's initials start with "my husband". Love your story and it sounds like you had a fab trip!

    Bodacious: My husband loves club soda and I find it nasty so we compromise and don't ever have it in the house...he loves your tip and I think due to my spillage tendencies, we may need to stock up!
